Just kidding.
Seriously, though. I've been blogging since 2012 or so. I'm a writer by trade, so "they" told me I needed a platform.
But that's not what this platform is about. Here's the story...It goes back a ways:
When I was growing up, I was Skinny Stephanie. I weighed, like, 95 pounds just out of high school. The Freshman 15 was a pipe dream. I was skinny, and there was nothing I could do about it. Nothing.
"That sounds wonderful," you may say. But it wasn't. I was skinny as a rail, and people would say things like, "One day, I'll be as skinny as Stephanie."
I ached to be 125.
It did happen. When I was about 30. But the weight just kept on coming. I had a baby, and the weight just kept on coming.
Now that I'm welllllll over 40, I want to weigh around 140. It would work for my height. But I have no clue how to lose it.
Actually, I do: eat right and exercise. I exercise and enjoy it, but I eat like I did when I was a kid and never learned to lose weight. Even 2 pounds off would help a lot.
I want to live to be 100, and I can't do that if I'm carrying visceral fat.
So that's what this blog is about. I really don't want to be skinny again...That doesn't look healthy. But I do want to learn how to eat healthy and lose some of the fat.
This is my journey.
